It’s that time of the week again, when we get the most popular questions from our landlords and answer them for you.
Keep them coming! We love being able to help our landlords navigate, the sometimes tricky path of Self Management.
Everything is easier when you have a team behind you, who want you to succeed.
We at RealRenta, want our landlords to experience success and self-mastery that you can only feel with Self- Management.
- My tenant has cut down several trees and shrubs in my property’s garden. I am not happy as these added quite a bit of aesthetic appeal and have been a feature of the property for years…..
A tribunal could potentially view this as damage to the premises and compensation could be payable, as it would be viewed as a breach of the tenancy agreement.
- I lease one of my properties to students- can I add a condition to the tenancy agreement, requesting their parents to be responsible for rent payments?
This is a common question, especially because most students are not working full time.
The answer is yes, however, in some states, the parents will need to be named on the lease.
